In a bid to create more transparency and have redressal to Home Buyers issues relating to possession mainly the MahaRERA has launched a Help Line which will be open up for calls from 7 AM to 11 PM at night. This is an interesting development for Home Buyers who can easily call the Help Desk to resolve their queries.
MahaRERA has been quiet active of late post covid and they have given extension of 6 months to the projects which had completion date or expiry date etc till April 15, 2021. They have also blacklisted projects which did not comply with RERA norms. This has resulted in a good confidence in Home Buyers to see an authority taking pro active steps in the interest of Home Buyers. Due to Covid a lot of developer office team and office bearers even in MahaRERA were remotely working. Updating data on the MahaRERA website is a tedious task and needs inputs from Sales, Legal, Architecture department etc. Only once the developer gets all these information from different teams in the Company they are able to upload the same on the MahaRERA website. This process will be streamlined in a few months and developers whose projects are prohibited just need to update and validate their information to get on line.
